Thanks to the generosity of Golden Ruby Games, we have not one, not two, no…not even THREE but TEN full copies of Worm Run to give away for absolutely free.
Now, let me get something out of the way quickly, much to my great sadness, this is an iphone/ipad only game, so if you don’t have one of these, I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
Don’t have an iphone/Ipad but want to get the word out for others? Reblog with the words “No Iphone here”.
Worm Run (preview!) was a project, started on kickstarter and quickly succeeded. The end result is visually a hybrid of spelunky and something out of my nightmares. With randomly generated levels, fast pace gameplay and expertly crafted tension, the only limitation on enjoyment is yourself.
So! How do you get your greasy little hands on a copy of one of these games without laying down some hard cold cash?
Simple! Simply reblog or like this post. Both count as an entry! (multiple reblogs will be counted as 1 but 1 reblog and one like is 2 entries!)
Winners will be chosen by a random number generator and announced here on ManchesterGameMaker so it’s probably advisable to follow us too. If we haven’t heard from you within a week following the winners announcement, you’ll forfeit your prize!
To keep things simple and to give everyone a chance, this contest will be run until March 10th when the winners will be chosen/announced!
Golden ruby games is a small independant game company based in NYC and they’ve done some great work with this game. Here at ManchesterGameMaker, we think they’ve got a lot of potential and would love to see them developing games for the android market in future!
At the very least, you can expect to see more iphone and ipad apps from them in the future.
ManchesterGameMaker is a tumblr for game developers. It’s a tumblr for game designers and game artists too. We even make room for composers and musicians! ManchesterGameMaker aims to bring game creators together to inspire one another and create a community of communication and support for indie game makers, from all relevant fields.
It’s also a great place for finding out about new indie releases and free indie games!
